Resolution

Prerequisites:

  • Pre-existing HeavyJob Desktop installation or HeavyJob.com environment
  • HeavyJob must have HDM installed and enabled
  • Time cards pertaining to the data must be submitted

Part 1: Enable Production History:

  1. Log in to credentials.hcssapps.com as an Administrator.
  2. Expand Product Setup HeavyBid > Preferences.
  1. Select Allow access to HeavyJob data for Production History in HeavyBid.
  1. Click Save.

Part 2: Enable Production History in HeavyBid:

Note: A Master Estimate must be open to make changes to System Preferences. 
  1. In HeavyBid, navigate to Menu > Tools > Preferences > System.
  2. Click Production History/Web Applications (2016/2017+) on the left side.
  3. Select Enable Production History in HeavyBid.
  • If this option is grayed out, navigate to Tools > Miscellaneous Tools > Update HeavyBid License; click OK, restart HeavyBid, then repeat steps 1 through 3 above.
  1. Set the desired Business Unit (for non-enterprise systems, only MANAGER will be available).
  2. Set the Production History button:
    • For only the current user account, click Me.
    • For all user accounts, click All Users.​
    • Note: This setting sets the functionality of the Production History button.

  1. Click OK.

Part 3: Enable Production History Button per User:

 Skip this step if the option in Step 5 is selected for All Users (Set User-added image to open Production History for:)

  1. Navigate to User Preferences: Menu > Tools > Preferences > User.
  2. Select Display.
  3. Change User-added image button goes to: from Cost History to Production History.
  4. Click OK.
